Great software,

On the in flight application map would it be possible have a setting to only display airspace relative to your height (plus/minus a configurable height)?

Also buttons for the positions report and follow position to be more easily accessible.

I'm a fan of this suggestion; I actually had a prototype running yesterday that only displayed airspace within -/+ 1000 feet of the aircraft position. It results in a wonderfully clear map, but if you suddenly need to descend and want to know what's ahead of you, you'd have to go into options somewhere to turn off the feature.

This feature is already present for airspace above you, by the way. You'll notice that no airspace whose bottom is above 4000 feet is drawn unless you have planned a route above that height, or you're flying above that height. It's just the part of the feature where no airspace below your current height would be drawn that you're after I think.

I've flown with XCsoar (glider software) which has this feature and it works very well. I think if you use your projected altitude in eg 5 or 10 mins when climbing foe filetering airspace, this would get around the problem. Your side view helps too.
